Ethos Independent Ethics Committee (Ethos IEC) is a registered and accredited ethics committee committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics in biomedical, clinical, and health research. We ensure the protection of the rights, safety, and well-being of human participants through independent, competent, and timely review of research protocols.
WHAT WE DO
At Ethos Independent Ethics Committee (Ethos IEC), we provide independent and comprehensive ethical review of research protocols involving human participants. Our core responsibilities include evaluating study designs, reviewing informed consent documents, monitoring ongoing research activities, and ensuring the safety and rights of participants through the assessment of serious adverse events (SAEs) and protocol deviations. We also review protocol amendments, conduct site inspections, and offer guidance and training to investigators to promote ethical compliance. Additionally, we evaluate potential conflicts of interest and ensure adherence to national and international ethical guidelines including ICMR, NDCT 2019, and GCP standards.

ACCREDATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
Ethos IEC is registered with the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) under the NDCT Rules, 2019, authorizing us to ethically review clinical trials in India. We are also ISO 9001:2015 certified, reflecting our commitment to quality, transparency, and consistent ethical review processes in line with national and international standards.
